Atlanta Women's Specialists takes great pride in its 40-year tradition of providing and advancing women's healthcare. As your Atlanta Ob/GYN, our physicians and staff are committed to excellence and innovation in medical care. As your obstetric and gynecologic healthcare needs change over time - from yearly checkups and contraception to pregnancies and, eventually, menopause - we're ready to serve you.
Atlanta Women's Specialists now offers convenient and cost-effective outpatient alternatives for procedures previously only performed in a hospital operating room. As in-office services, these procedures require a localized anesthetic, not general anesthesia, and therefore expose you to fewer medical risks. They also take less time, offer quicker recovery and usually cost less out of pocket.

Unlike forms of temporary birth control, Essure does not contain any hormones that can interfere with your monthly cycle. And unlike tubal ligation, Essure does not require any incisions.
Benefits of Essure:
Atlanta Women's Specialists also provides many other services in our offices for added convenience. Your results are available to you faster and will be accessible 24 hours a day online through My Health Record.
