Dr. Tanya Dannemann is an Atlanta native. She travelled up north to attend Yale for her undergraduate degree and eventually returned to her home state for medical school and residency training, both at the Medical College of Georgia/Augusta University. Dr. Dannemann then joined an OB/GYN practice in a suburb of Nashville, TN in 2013 where she had been practicing until joining Atlanta Obstetrics And Gynecology Specialists in 2021.
Dr. Dannemann is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. As part of her prior job in Tennessee, she was part of the Perinatal Quality Committee focusing on quality improvements and practicing up-to-date medicine for pregnant women.
As an OB-GYN, Dr. Dannemann is very focused on having a strong rapport with her patients. She truly cares about her patient’s overall wellbeing, medical and otherwise. It has been such a rewarding experience for her to care for her patients through multiple pregnancies or even for a gynecologic problem that required extra attention. Listening to her patients is so important to Dr. Dannemann. She is very excited to have joined Atlanta Obstetrics and Gynecology Specialists.
In her free time, Dr. Dannemann enjoys spending time with her husband and children, as well as the extended family she is now closer to since moving back to Georgia.
